A homage to the cult green perfumes of the 70’s, Synthetic Jungle by Frederic Malle is a scent that’s uncompromisingly green. The opening notes of lily of the valley offer a dewy freshness that’s wonderfully complemented by the subsequent earthiness that emanates a black rich soil of the forest. The aroma blossoms like a flower with time as the green comes alive with the inclusion of ylang ylang that gives the fragrance a mature texture. The magnetism of the scent grows stronger as the perfume begins to lightly thickens to resemble a light, chewy putty. The base notes of powder and leather balance the aroma.
