It opens with bergamot, smoky and pineapple notes. The opening is sharp, very pleasant, and projects well. During the opening, Aventus prive appears to have only three notes, smoke, pineapple, and bergamot, a great combination. It is after a moment that other notes will start coming up, specifically the spices which add just a touch to balance the pineapple and now, also the apple that just come up.
The ambergris and musk are soft support notes and they dont open a place for themselves. The vanilla is aromatic and enhances a bit the sweetness of the fruity notes but not more than that.
As the fragrance reaches its dry-down, the green touch of the patchouli comes up but, it is just a whiff meant to enhance the initial notes. Once the fragrance has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projecting, smoky bergamot and pineapple) fragrance with some spicy, green, and woody accords.
This fragrance feels fresh, modern, highly versatile, inviting, masculine, modern, sophisticated, sparkly, zesty, playful and very pleasant. Avantus prive is in itself a solid fragrance, it provides a great opening and good performance.
Avantus prive is very similar to the versions of Creed Aventus that favor equally both, the fruity and smoky tones.
